New LEGO Disney 100th anniversary set revealed – with 13 Disney princesses

LEGO Korea has revealed a brand new LEGO Disney 100th anniversary set coming later this year – complete with a whopping 13 different Disney princesses.

43215 Magical Treehouse launches on June 1, and will retail for 219,900 Korean won. Based on similarly-priced sets, that means you can expect to pay roughly £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 for the Disney set in the UK, US and Europe when it lands on shelves. And for your money, you’ll be getting 1,016 pieces and 13 different Disney princess mini-dolls.

Yep, this is a more traditional LEGO Disney set than the likes of 43212 Disney Celebration Train and 43217 ‘Up’ House, so there are no minifigures here. But the sheer number of Disney princess mini-dolls is unprecedented, bringing together characters from across the entire Disney pantheon. And among those are a few we’ve actually never seen before as mini-dolls.

The total line-up includes (deep breath): Elsa, Anna, Alice in Wonderland, Belle, Wendy, Tinker Bell, Mirabel, Moana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Raya, Tiana and Jasmine. Of those, Pocahontas, Wendy, Tinker Bell and Alice are all brand new in mini-doll form, while Belle hasn’t been seen in a LEGO Disney Princess set since 2018.

Other characters – such as Elsa and Anna, of Frozen fame – are also rocking brand new designs, so all in all this is what you’d call a win for Disney princess collectors. The set itself looks pretty fun, too, combining a bold colour scheme with plenty of play features for the characters – including a canoe, zip line and archery target. Less magical treehouse, more adventure camp?

We’ll hopefully get even better images of 43215 Magical Treehouse in the near future, along with confirmation of the set’s international pricing, so keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for updates.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
