LEGO Disney Pixar’s Lightyear sets officially revealed

The LEGO Buy at Buy at Buy at Buy at Group has unveiled three new sets based on Disney Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story spin-off movie Lightyear.

Buzz Lightyear’s origin story (because it’s 2022, and every character needs an origin story) lands in cinemas in June, but a trio of tie-in LEGO Buy at Buy at Buy at Buy at sets will arrive on shelves two months earlier on April 24. And they’re surprisingly affordable, topping out at £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99 for 76832 XL-15 Spaceship, which includes 497 pieces and three minifigures.

The other two sets each include a mech of sorts, including one that’s reminiscent of 2010’s 7591 Construct-a-Zurg in 76831 Zurg Battle

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
