LEGO Friends 2020 summer set names revealed

A new wave of LEGO Friends sets will arrive this summer, covering holiday fun, jungle rescue and Heartlake City life.

The LEGO Friends sets that will be released in summer 2020 can be shared – the names at least, images are not yet available. Brick Fanatics saw the new releases at London Toy Fair, with them now also being displayed at International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

LEGO Friends Play Cubes will continue with two more waves coming this year. Each one is a plastic cube with studs on top allowing them to be stacked, containing a mini-doll, a few bricks and a randomly coloured cute animal.

The regular Heartlake City sets coming this summer are as follows:

lego

41425 Olivia’s Flower Garden
41426 Heartlake City Park Café
41427 Emma’s Fashion Shop
41398 Stephanie’s House

A few summer holiday inspired sets will also launch:

41428 Beach House
41429 Heartlake City Airplane
41430 Summer Fun Water Park

An additional subtheme will be jungle rescue focused:

41421 Baby Elephant Jungle Rescue
41422 Panda Jungle Tree House
41423 Tiger Hot Air Balloon Jungle Rescue
41424 Jungle Rescue Base

Finally, 41420 Advent Calendar will allow LEGO Friends fans to countdown to Christmas.

41430 Summer Fun Water Park is an incredibly fun looking set, packing in plenty of water-based activities for the gang to partake in. New tube elements will be included in the set, that can apparently have water run through them without leaking. The tube pieces are large enough to fit a mini-doll (or minifigure) inside, so in this case function as a water slide.

While the jungle sets focus on animals and adventurous veterinary practices, 41424 Jungle Rescue Base includes some classic treehouse tropes including a rope bridge.

Other LEGO products that have been announced today include DOTS, Technic Fast & Furious, Technic Lamborghini, Friends summer releases, Creator summer releases and City summer releases.
