LEGO Marvel Shang-Chi sets UK release date revealed

The accompanying sets for the new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings, have been added to the official UK LEGO store – release dates included.

The only two Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings sets have finally made their to the UK version of LEGO.com after being on the US store for months. Because of this, and following an early release of the models in some retailers.

Those who might need a refresher of what builds will be released for the new movie and ahead of its release in September, the range consists of 76176 Escape from The Ten Rings? and 76177 Battle at the Ancient Village?.

The smaller of the two will cost £29.99 / €29.99 and depicts a car chase between Shang-Chi, Katy and some assailants from the Ten Rings organisation, not to mention Morris the winged companion.

The biggest in the collection, 76177 Battle at the Ancient Village is priced at £34.99 / €39.99 and is arguably the more impressive model out of the duo, but you’ll need to gather both if you intend to collect all of ten of the titular artefacts.

The first couple of trailers for the upcoming film have now released, giving some context as to these models, with the larger one seemingly introducing a more mystical and mythological element to the MCU, beyond that of Norse legend at least.

You can expect to find both in-store and online from August 2nd in the UK and Europe, but they are available now in the USA. There is also a small polybag and we’ll let you know when we know more about its distribution.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
