LEGO MASTERS USA gets a UK air date

Channel 4 has announced how and when you’ll be able to watch the first season of LEGO MASTERS USA in the UK.

The Will Arnett-hosted series will begin airing on E4 from 9pm UK time on Tuesday April 13. We’re still waiting on a third season of the original UK show – even while the format has been exported around the world – but catching up on the first US instalment should tide us over for a while.

LEGO MASTERS USA initially aired on FOX from February 2020, with LEGO designers Jamie Berard and Amy Corbett on the judging panel, but this is the first time it’s been legitimately available to watch in the UK.

If you don’t have access to E4 live, you’ll also be able to tune in online, or catch up later via All 4. There’s no word yet on whether all episodes will be available to stream instantly next Tuesday, but we’ll let you know.

The second season of LEGO MASTERS USA is currently in production, while applications are also open for the third German season. But that doesn’t mean the competitive brick-building series has stopped expanding to new territories, either: next on its step towards European domination is Finland, following in the footsteps of France, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands.

All that, and yet still no word on another season for the show that started it all. Still, at least you’ll be able to console yourself with LEGO MASTERS USA.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
