LEGO mystery free gift-with-purchase revealed
Spoiler alert: the identity of the mystery free gift currently available at LEGO.com in the UK and Europe has been revealed.
Okay, it’s not much of a spoiler given the shopping bag at the official online store tells you what it is. But if you were hoping to retain some sense of surprise by, um, closing your eyes while checking out, probably best to look away from this page now.
Still with us? Great. The current free gift with a £170 / €170 spend is none other than 40440 German Shepherd, one of eight different BrickHeadz Pets sets to arrive in 2021. The 247-piece set usually retails for £13.49 / €14.99, so it’s not a bad freebie all told.

That’s especially true if you were planning on spending £170 / €170 anyway, which doesn’t seem unlikely given we’re a few days away from one of the biggest product launches of the year. Dozens of new sets will debut on Friday, including 21329 Fender Stratocaster, 71395 Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block and 40478 Mini Disney Castle.
As the identity of this gift-with-purchase is revealed at checkout, the ‘mystery’ nature of the promo could refer to it changing between now and the time the deal ends on October 5. You can only take advantage of the freebie on a single order, though, so multiple £170 / €170 spends won’t help you grab any subsequent GWPs if you’ve already claimed 40440 German Shepherd.

I put some sets in my basket yesterday and it showed me that I qualified for the dog set.
Today it just says I’ve qualified for a mystery gift.
I’m not keen on Brickheadz so I’ll sell the freebie. It’s not as good as the Charles Dickens sets but Brickheadz do well after retirement.
Do you think there will be more offers before Christmas? I still have my eye on getting the Sesame Street set next.
Definitely more offers before Xmas – we’ve still got LEGO VIP Weekend, Black Friday and Cyber Monday to go 🙂
