LEGO Star Wars characters encourage social distancing

A new clip from the LEGO Group uses the LEGO Star Wars theme to make children aware of the importance of social distancing.

While different countries around the world have taken different approaches to reducing the spread of coronavirus, one common measure has been social distancing. By standing apart from others, it is understood that the possibility of transmission of the virus is reduced.

To help spread that message to children, the LEGO Group have shared a vide produced by Pure Imagination. It features LEGO Star Wars characters Luke Skywalker and R2-D2, as Luke explains the concept to his droid companion.

It follows two previous videos that saw The LEGO Movie stars Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks and Will Arnett reprise their roles as Emmet, Wyldstyle and Batman.

LEGO Stores in certain locations are starting to re-open, with significant changes to the shopping experience in place. As different countries are in different stages of their coronavirus response, there is no longer a ‘one size fits all’ response from the LEGO Group when it comes to brand stores, so fans are being encouraged to check on the website if their local outlet is open or not.
