LEGO Star Wars R3-M2 loose images
Images of a curious little LEGO Star Wars polybag turned up a while ago, containing the astromech droid R3-M2 from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Jedi News has a copy of the set, and has provided a breakdown of what comes in this new style of LEGO Star Wars polybag.
You start off by building the stand, which includes a flat black 1×4 tile for you to apply the sticker to. The top of the stand is finished off by a regular minifigure stand on which R3-M2 stands. As you can see from the pictures there’s the ability to connect multiple stands together
So the nameplate is a stickered piece and the droid comes with a backdrop reminiscent of the short-lived Star Wars minifigure packs released in 2000. Where this set will turn up has yet to be revealed, but it may be a candidate for the May 4th promotional giveaway this year.
