New LEGO The Muppets Collectible Minifigures available now on LEGO.com

It’s time to play the music, it’s time to light the lights, it’s time for the first ever LEGO The Muppets Collectible Minifigures to be released.

Following a number of rumours and a sneaky tease, the LEGO Group has at last drawn back the curtain on its latest licensed minifigure collection. Fans of Jim Henson’s iconic creations will be overjoyed to finally be able to pick up 71033 The Muppets Collectible Minifigures from today, May 1.

Here are the two sets that are available:

71035 The Muppets 6 pack

The latest CMF series includes 12 characters, ranging from the eternally-optimistic Kermit the Frog and the unintelligible Swedish Chef to grumpy hecklers-in-residence, Waldorf and Statler. Each minifigure includes their own character-specific accessories and the 6 pack offers a selection of blind bags for less than the price of buying them individually.

Although there may be some characters missing that could potentially appear if there were to ever be a second series (Scooter, anyone?), this is a pretty solid line-up for any collectors of The Muppets.
