WATCH: LEGO wants to add more movie cars to Speed Champions
Could we be seeing more film and TV based cars joining the Speed Champions line-up? Catch our latest video short to find out.
We’ve already seen James Bond’s most iconic set of wheels, the Aston Martin DB5, recreated in LEGO, courtesy of 10262 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 back in 2018. Two years later we were treated to a Technic version of the Dodge Charger belonging to Dominic Toretto – anti-hero from the blockbusting Fast and Furious franchise – with 42111 Dom’s Dodge Charger. Now both cars are making a return to the LEGO line-up, in the ever-popular Speed Champions range.
On August 1, 76912 Fast & Furious 1970 Dodge Charger R/T and 76911 007 Aston Martin DB5 will be released, both priced at £19.99 and containing 345 pieces and 298 pieces respectively. But this might be just the start of film and TV adaptations for the Speed Champions theme if Chris Stamp, Design Manager of Speed Champions is to be believed. And why wouldn’t you believe him?
In a recent interview with New Elementary, Chris talked about the two new vehicles and how the range might develop. You can find out what he had to say by clicking on to our new Youtube video and getting the low down on the fastest LEGO sets around.
Or maybe TikTok is your thing. Don’t worry, because we’ve got you covered there too. Just click on the video below to get up to speed (sorry!). It won’t take long to watch. In fact you’ll be gone in 60 seconds. (Not sorry about that one.)

Hope not, they messed up horribly with that Bond “DB5” (again). That is the worst speech champions set ever. Just a laughable none effort.
