More details on rumoured LEGO Indiana Jones 18+ set emerge
The details of what movie the 18+ LEGO Indiana Jones set links to might have just been spotted online.
The long-dormant LEGO Indiana Jones theme has been rumoured to be making a return in 2023, including one 18+ set reportedly with over 1,500 pieces. Now, legen.dleaks on Instagram reports that this larger set will centre around 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark.
With a rumoured set name 77015 The Temple Escape Diorama, the build will reportedly be a revival of 7623 Temple Escape. This wouldn’t be the first time that the LEGO Group has gone back to an older set and reinvented it with modern elements and building techniques. Just recently, it was announced that LEGO Harry Potter would be returning under the water once more to the second Triwizard Tournament task with an upcoming set.
According to legen.dleaks, the set will be a black-based diorama of the iconic Indiana Jones scene where they’re escaping from the temple, complete with four minifigures to do the escaping. From the sounds of it, 77015 The Temple Escape Diorama could be similar in appearance to some of the LEGO Star Wars dioramas, such as 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama and 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama.
Of course, we can’t know anything for sure until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. Until then, here’s a reminder of all the rumoured LEGO Indiana Jones sets we’ve spotted so far.
