Realistic LEGO Star Wars advert showcases the scale of 75313 AT-AT

The LEGO Group has revealed a brand new video advertising Star Wars 75313 AT-AT with a larger-than-life iteration of the upcoming model.

LEGO Star Wars 75313 AT-AT is massive and one of the biggest sets in the theme so far – a fact that the LEGO Group is eager to admit in the build’s dedicated advert that has surfaced on social media.

Depicting a normal purchase at a LEGO store – an experience that you can soon share at select midnight openings for the build – a man clutches 75313 AT-AT in hand before noticing that his shadow has changed shape. Other citizens notice the shadows changing around them too as the Imperial Walker reveals itself on the streets of the city.

While the video might be exaggerating the size of 75313 AT-AT slightly, as it doesn’t quite stretch to the height of a skyscraper, the LEGO Group is aware of the scale and compares it to the other UCS Star Wars models with clever references scattered throughout the video.

These include a car with a license plate for 75192 Millennium Falcon and a vacuum cleaner coloured to look like 75308 R2-D2, both of which are overshadowed by the animated AT-AT.

Characters from Star Wars are also included as Easter eggs in the advert with Princess Leia and Chewbacca featured. There may be more to spot throughout it too. LEGO Star Wars 75313 AT-AT will be available from November 26 on the official online store with room for an army of Stormtrooper minifigures.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
