Smyths Toys hosting LEGO New Worlds of Fun giveaway event
An upcoming LEGO New Worlds of Fun giveaway event will be taking place at Smyths Toys stores across the UK on February 19.
UK retailer Smyths Toys regularly hosts in-store events, which have often included free LEGO ‘make and take’ models and polybags. Back in 2019 stores were offering a free LEGO Harry Potter polybag in the shape of 30407 Harry’s Journey to Hogwarts, which many lucky fans were able to pick up.
Now Smyths Toys has announced its next in-store event, which is due to take place on February 19 from 9am-4pm. The LEGO New Worlds of Fun day will showcase LEGO CITY and Friends sets, giving shoppers the chance to see what new products are available in each theme for 2022.
Additional in-store events will also be held at Smyths Toys in Blackpool and Croydon. Upon arrival at those stores, visitors can follow the street signs to find a LEGO town centre inside. Children will be greeted by a LEGO CITY policeman and be given a special tour guide booklet full of fun challenges. They can also pose for a picture with a life-size LEGO CITY Stuntz bike and helmet and check out the play area at the town centre roundabout.
Most appealing though is that all visitors to the event at any Smyths Toys store will get to take home a free ‘Mini Giveaway’, although no specific items have been announced. It’s possible that the giveaways could potentially be the recent LEGO CITY 30588 Kids’ Playground and Friends 30416 Market Stall gift-with-purchase polybags, but we won’t know until February 19. The giveaways are available while stocks last, on a first come, first served basis (one per child), so you might want to get there early to snap up a few freebies.

Is the nearest event for my family for the 19th Feb 2022 at Croydon ? We live in Cheshunt EN7 6RP..could possibly travel somewhere..
