The LEGO Group launches Build to Give 2020

The annual Build to Give campaign is back, with the LEGO Group ready to donate 1,000,000 LEGO sets worth $10,000,000 to children around the world.

The LEGO Group wants people around the world to build a Christmas ornament and share it online with the hashtag #BuildtoGive, with the company donating one set for charity for everdecoration built. Up to 1,000,000 LEGO sets will be donated, worth up to $10,000,000.

Each set will be donated to a child in need who is in a hospital children’s home or is part of a vulnerable community. Distribution will be taking place all around the world.

“The holidays are a time for giving and receiving, but it can be a very tough time for children in difficult circumstances. That’s why we’re proud to have donated over 1.5 million LEGO sets to children-in-need through #BuildtoGive over the last three years,” says Kathrine Kirk Muff, Vice President of Social Responsibility at the LEGO Group. “But we couldn’t do it without joining forces with others; we’re always inspired by how creative children get when building to support a good cause, and are excited to continue working with generous families and our amazing partner organisations to bring the gift of play to even more children this year.”
