You don’t have long left to buy LEGO Star Wars 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport

Time is running out to pick up LEGO Star Wars 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport, which is apparently due to retire at the end of 2021.

According to Brick Fanatics’ sources, the LEGO Group currently plans to discontinue production of the incredibly popular set by the end of this year. That gives you just over nine months to get your hands on a copy, which would be absolutely fine… if this was any other set.

Unfortunately, any other set this ain’t. Instead, it’s only the second LEGO model based on The Mandalorian, the first to include a Baby Yoda minifigure, and the only one to recreate The Razor Crest in bricks (even if that’s not the name on the box).

All those factors – plus, presumably, the ship’s demolition in the show’s second season, suggesting we’ll probably never see it again in LEGO – have led to it being perennially out of stock at LEGO.com, and therefore supremely difficult to get hold of. Case in point, it’s currently unavailable to order through the official online store.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
