LEGO launches revamped wishlist system on official online store

Anyone shopping on the official online store may have discovered a surprise change to their wishlist as the LEGO Group has redesigned the feature.

With a new month of sets and deals added to LEGO.com for October, the LEGO Group has also taken the time to make some changes to the set-saving system. Wishlists have undergone a digital refurbishment as you now have more options to sort out future orders ahead of time, instead of picking and choosing through your saved list of models to see what best suits your budget and deals.

For those unfamiliar with how wishlists work, when looking at a set in any way, an option to add it to your wishlist was presented with a heart icon. Clicking that would present it along with the rest of your saved items when navigating to the dedicated section of the official online store, saved to your account for future reference.

Now, clicking on the heart presents a drop-down list of options for which wishlist you’d like to add it to, provided you have more than one. The general wishlist that was used before can now only store up to 30 items, with the ability to create many more allowing you to theme them to specific future orders.

Don’t worry, any sets you had saved before will still be there and ready for you to sort through, but note that once you have 30 items in a wishlist, no more can be added, meaning you’ll need to make a new one. As demonstrated in the image above, these collections can then be added to your bag all at once, with the total displayed in your regional currency.

The new wishlist system should make it easier to plan purchases depending on what offers are coming up, such as the 40452 Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms GWP at the end of October. That requires a purchase of over £100 / $100 / €100 on Harry Potter sets, so you can start planning accordingly with the new system now.
