LEGO Super Mario Starter Kit Bundle with Gift disappears from LEGO.com
Launched only yesterday, LEGO Super Mario Starter Kit Bundle with Gift has disappeared, and possibly sold out, from the official LEGO online shop.
This year marks the 35th birthday of Super Mario, and yesterday the LEGO Group announced new products for the LEGO Super Mario theme. LEGO Super Mario Starter Kit Bundle with Gift, containing 71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course and 40414 Monty Mole & Super Mushroom Expansion Set, was made available to pre-order. After selling out in the USA though, the bundle has been entirely removed from LEGO.com.
The only set currently listed from the LEGO Super Mario theme is 71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course.
It is not yet known whether it will return for pre-order. If not, fans will have to wait until the sets get their official release on August 1 to indulge in this new type of product from the LEGO Group.
71366 Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set and 71369 Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set were also announced yesterday. A tie-in app will also be released to complement the sets when they launch in August.
