First John Lewis LEGO Black Friday sale includes best price yet on 71411 The Mighty Bowser
John Lewis has launched its first LEGO Black Friday sale, which includes the best price yet on LEGO Super Mario 71411 The Mighty Bowser.
Discounts of up to 40% are available across a wide variety of sets, from themes including Technic, LEGO Icons and Friends, with tempting prices on the likes of 42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, 10302 Optimus Prime and 41703 Friendship Tree House. There are plenty of 2022 releases in the mix, too, such as 42145 Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter and 42141 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car.

Super Mario fans will want to jump on 71411 The Mighty Bowser, this year’s flagship set, which is also available at the best price we’ve seen since it arrived on shelves last month. Normally retailing for £229.99, the giant Bowser – which includes 2,807 pieces, and is compatible with the digital Mario, Luigi and Peach figures – can be had for just £172.49.
A huge range of smaller LEGO Super Mario sets are also discounted, offering a great opportunity to build out your interactive courses – or just pick up those digital characters to pair with big Bowser. 71403 Adventures with Peach and 71408 Peach’s Castle are both 30% off, while the Mario and Luigi Starter Courses can both be picked up with a 40% discount.
41703 Friendship Tree House, meanwhile, is down to only £41.99, marking a cool 40% off its regular retail price. The Friends 10th anniversary set is one of the last chances to grab the core cast of characters ahead of the theme’s planned revamp in 2023.
Elsewhere, John Lewis has knocked 25% off 10302 Optimus Prime, combating the price increase implemented by the LEGO Group earlier this year. The first-ever Hasbro set is now available for just £119.99, representing a saving of £40 on its new RRP.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
