Every new LEGO Harry Potter character in the 2023 sets

From Michael Corner to Angelina Johnson, the LEGO Harry Potter 2023 sets are packed with characters appearing as minifigures for the first time.

As the renewed LEGO Harry Potter theme enters its sixth year on shelves, the design team is really starting to dig into some of the franchise’s more obscure characters – while simultaneously filling some of the more obvious gaps in its minifigure line-up. And that means that across the six newly-revealed sets arriving in March 2023, we’re getting a total of five brand new Wizarding World characters.

None of these have appeared as minifigures before, giving veteran collectors the chance to expand their collections with more than just variants of previous characters. Check out all five below, and click here for a closer look at the six new sets arriving next year.

Angelina Johnson

Included in 76409 Gryffindor House Banner, Angelina Johnson is somehow the first member of the Gryffindor Quidditch team we’ve had beyond Harry Potter and Oliver Wood. She’s therefore rocking her Quidditch jumper, which brings this torso design back into the fold for the first time since the 2010 range of LEGO Harry Potter sets.

Michael Corner

A member of Dumbledore’s Army in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Michael Corner belongs to Ravenclaw – so, naturally, you’ll find him in 76411 Ravenclaw House Banner. Memorable mainly for dating Ginny Weasley (at least in the novel), he’s also part of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, though it’s Cho Chang who’s rocking the sporting jumper in this set.

Pansy Parkinson

Pansy Parkinson’s role in the Harry Potter movies wasn’t massive – at least compared to the books – but she still ranks among the less obscure Hogwarts students, especially next to the likes of Michael Corner and Hannah Abbott. It’s surprising it’s taken this long to get her in minifigure form, but you’ll find her in 76410 Slytherin House Banner, alongside one other fresh face…

Blaise Zabini

Appearing for the first time in the LEGO Harry Potter line-up for 2023, Slytherin student Blaise Zabini is pulling double duty across 76410 Slytherin House Banner and 76413 Hogwarts: Room of Requirement. Though it’s not mentioned in the books, the films cast him as a Chaser on the Slytherin Quidditch team, so he’s wearing the team’s jumper in the house banner set.

Grey Lady

While we’ve already had a minifigure of her mum in 71043 Hogwarts Castle, this is our first incarnation of Helena Ravenclaw, also known as the Grey Lady. Her ghost is integral to the climax of the Deathly Hallows, revealing the location of her mother Rowena’s diadem, which Voldemort turned into one of his Horcruxes. She therefore makes total sense as a minifigure in 76413 Hogwarts: Room of Requirement.
