LEGO could be about to make an appearance in Fortnite
We’ve heard rumours that Fortnite could feature in LEGO sets; now LEGO could also be featured in Fortnite.
Ever since the LEGO Group’s owners, KIRKBI, invested a massive $1 billion in Fortnite’s developer Epic Games, there has been speculation as to whether a crossover between the two could be on the way. While no LEGO sets seem to be on the way, some creative minds have already imagined what a brick-built Fortnite could look like.
Now, as reported by Comicbook.com, an unofficial yet apparently reliable Fortnite source, GMatrixGames on Twitter, has claimed that LEGO elements could be making an appearance in the Fortnite video game.
The code, if real, does seem to suggest that something to do with LEGO bricks is being worked on. GMatrixGames went on to speculate that this could be an entire LEGO island, though that’s far from confirmed at this point. Fortnite is centred around islands, with each game kicking off with players parachuting down onto an island to start their Battle Royale.
Of course, this is all just rumours and speculation for now. We’ll need to take it all with a pinch of salt until we get official confirmation from either Epic Games or the LEGO Group.
