LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga nominated for two 2023 BAFTA Games awards

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has received two nominations at the 2023 BAFTA Games Awards, alongside titles including God of War Ragnarök, Call of Duty and more.

The mammoth TT Games title – which covers all nine episodes of the mainline Star Wars saga – will face both of those franchises in the Best Animation category, along with Horizon and newcomers Stray and Sifu. It’s a stacked roster for sure, and means there are no guarantees LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will take home the prize.

It’s facing equally stiff competition in the award for Best Family Game, which also includes big names like Mario, Kirby, Disney and, erm, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You can check out the full list of nominees in both categories in which LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is nominated in the tables below.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
