New Star Wars The Book of Boba Fett trailer teases characters

The marketing for Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett is continuing before the premiere with another new trailer showcasing more characters.

The video, titled Message, is a compilation of clips from the upcoming series measures just 30 seconds long but still manages to tease new content such as a new Ithorian character.

Featured at 12 seconds into the video, the Ithorian sits on a throne with treasures around them, suggesting that they are another crime lord that Boba Fett will need to either negotiate with or deal with other ways. The most recent appearance of a minifigure of this species is in 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina with a specially moulded head element. That piece is currently in production but has not been confirmed for any further minifigures.

Boba Fett can also be seen with breathing apparatus similar to that which is used in a Bacta Tank, though it’s not clear if this is during the events of the show or after he escaped from the Sarlacc Pit and likely needed to recover.

Two new character posters for the Disney+ show were also revealed on social media, depicting Fennec Shand and Boba Fett wrapped up in a Tatooine Sandstorm.

Both iterations of these characters already have minifigures in 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser and 75312 Boba Fett’s Starship, both of which are now available ahead of the show’s launch on December 29.

However, at least two models based on the series are also rumoured to release in 2022 with one said to depict Boba Fett’s Palace and another creation for the same price. These are unconfirmed by the LEGO Group though.
