Get your LEGO Ideas 21315 Pop-Up Book signed by the designers

It’s not just the LEGO Group’s official designers who have a hand in the Ideas theme, and the company often goes to great lengths to make sure people remember that. Just look at 21315 Pop-Up Book, which features the surnames of fan designers Jason Allemann and Grant Davis on its front cover. But those efforts extend beyond the physical sets, too, including regular launch events.

If you’re based in Oregon, then, you may want to make room in your calendar on Saturday October 27. That’s because both Davis and Allemann are coming to the Washington Square LEGO Store to unveil their Pop-Up Book, where you’ll be able to get your copy signed by the dynamic designing duo.

The set doesn’t launch properly until November 1, so this is an opportunity to get your hands on it before anyone else. The event will get underway at 11:00am PDT, running until 3:00pm, and you can RSVP on Facebook to keep up to date with any last-minute changes.

If you haven’t yet decided whether to pick up a copy for yourself, make sure to check out our review.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
