LEGO 40426 Christmas Wreath 2-in-1 will be back in 2021

If you missed out on LEGO 40426 Christmas Wreath 2-in-1, don’t worry: it should be back in 2021.

At the moment, LEGO.com says the wreath is a ‘Retired Product’. That label normally suggests a set is gone for good. But Brick Fanatics‘ sources say that the seasonal set will in fact be back for next year’s Christmas range.

The short-lived 510-piece model sold out in just 26 days at LEGO.com. And while you’ll hopefully have another chance at grabbing it in 2021, you’re unfortunately still out of luck if you were hoping to decorate your home with it this year. Instead, you’ll have to turn to secondary markets, where it’s already available above and beyond its RRP of £30.99 / $34.99 / €34.11.

If you’re happy to hold out for next year’s holiday season, though, you should be able to pick it up for its original price once again. It’s fair to say the LEGO Group didn’t anticipate the demand for it this year, so here’s hoping it’s available in larger quantities in 2021.

The highly-sought-after set offers a 2-in-1 build, as either a hanging wreath or table display, complete with candles. If you’re still craving a seasonal LEGO fix this year, 40416 Ice Skating Rink is currently free with a £150 / $150 spend at LEGO.com.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
