LEGO Batman summer 2024 rumours include displayable Batmobile
The latest LEGO Batman rumours posit that an upcoming Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile build could be continuing a collection from 2019.
Fanklocklow has shared rumoured details for the summer 2024 wave of LEGO DC, or more accurately LEGO Batman following the reveal of 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City earlier this week.
DC and Batman enthusiasts may have an exciting summer ahead of them provided at least a few of these rumours turn out to be true. Remember to take these details with caution though as they may be partially or wholly inaccurate.
76270 Batman Mech
Price: $14.99 / z?69.99 Pieces: 140 Release date: June 2024
The next superhero mech on the market is believed to be for Batman. It’s rumoured to be a classic model as we’ve seen many times before with a colour scheme presumably similar to 75368 Darth Vader Mech. It’s reported to feature a buildable Batarang and stud launcher on the shoulder with a movable two-piece cape and a jetpack. A Batman minifigure is also rumoured with a fabric cape.
76272 4+ Batcave
Price: $39.99 / z?169.99 Pieces: 180 Release date: June 2024
The next 4+ Batcave is rumoured to feature minifigures of Batgirl, Joker and Batman as well as vehicles for almost all of the characters. Batman is believed to be the only one without a vehicle and the Batcave build is rumoured to include a catapult, a disc shooter and an exploding door.
76273 Bat-Pod with buildable Batman figure
Price: $69.99 / z?359.99 Pieces: 713 Release date: June 2024
The buildable Bat-pod is now rumoured to include a Batman figure to ride it that measures 26cm tall. That’s the same scale as 76259 Batman Construction Figure meaning similar superhero figures may fit on the new Bat-pod design, should the rumours be accurate.
76274 Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile
Price: $59.99 / z?289.99 Pieces: 435 Release date: June 2024
The most notable new rumoured detail from this list is that 76274 Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile is now rumoured to feature a display stand with a plaque similar to 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile. That would put it in the same range as the 2021 set and the 40433 1989 Batmobile – Limited Edition gift-with-purchase
Other features are said to include an opening cockpit, detachable launchers and a mechanism for turning the flame from the ‘exhausts’. Its minifigures are rumoured to include Batman with a rubber cape instead of a fabric one.
