LEGO Disney 100th anniversary 43222 Disney Castle is out now for LEGO VIPs

LEGO 43222 Disney Castle is now available exclusively to VIP members, with seven exclusive characters and a free gift for the House of Mouse’s 100th anniversary.

Building on 2016’s 71040 The Disney Castle in all the right ways, 43222 Disney Castle boasts a brand new minifigure line-up, refreshed colour palette and even more pieces, with 4,837 in the box in total. If you place your order before July 9 (or while stocks last), you’ll also receive 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration, which includes an exclusive Mickey Mouse minifigure.

Unlike the last Disney Castle, 43222 Disney Castle comes with eight rather than five minifigures. This time around, instead of Mickey and his friends, the minifigures are all princes and princesses from classic Disney films, and cover plenty of Disney’s 100 year history.

Out of the eight minifigures that we get with the set, seven are exclusive, with only Tiana’s minifigure having been seen before in 71038 Disney 100. That leaves Snow White, Prince Florian, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Prince Naveen, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider as exclusive to 43222 Disney Castle.

The interior of the new LEGO Disney castle has plenty of details to spot as well, with the table from Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel’s painting, and many more references to other Disney films. You can take a look at our visual tour and gallery to spot some more of those references.

43222 is available for LEGO VIPs right now, and comes with 40600 Disney 100 Years of Celebration – which is also available by spending at least £95 / $100 / €100 on LEGO Disney sets – until July 9, or while stocks last.
