LEGO Hidden Side sets available to pre-order now

The

Group has released the entire theme for pre-order.

LEGO Hidden Side will launch on August 1, introducing the spooky new theme that works with a bespoke app to allow users to play through the story. Set in Newbury, the sets see Jack and Parker attempting to protect their hometown from the ghostly goings-on that only they can see through their specially adapted phone.

It is quite interesting for those who follow the way that

sets are named – these all had much briefer names when they were unveiled at New York Toy Fair, but now have fuller, more interesting set names. The box art was revealed a month ago, which demonstrates a different design than the LEGO Group would typically go for, emphasising the game aspect of the theme.

In an exclusive interview with Brick Fanatics, LEGO Senior Product Lead Murray Andrews explained how this new theme was developed to combine physical building and digital action.
