LEGO Hill Climb Adventures release date confirmed

Fingersoft has finally announced a wide release date for LEGO Hill Climb Adventures, more than a year after the mobile game originally entered open beta.

Based on the Finnish developer’s Hill Climb Racing series, LEGO Hill Climb Adventures will be available globally from May 30 on Android and iOS. Pre-registrations are open now, and – in a bid to incentivise the mobile equivalent of pre-orders – Fingersoft promises that more registrations will mean better rewards during the game’s opening week.

LEGO Hill Climb Adventures will offer a variety of LEGO vehicles with which to master Hill Climb Racing’s side-scrolling peaks and valleys, performing tricks and collecting studs (the game’s LEGO-fied currency) along the way. The landing page says the title will also add ‘twists and extra depth’ to the classic Hill Climb Racing gameplay, including exploration.

It sounds like there’s a fully-fledged story mode too, with Climb Canyon characters offering multiple missions for players to complete, each with its own storyline. You can check out some of the footage from the game’s open beta, which launched all the way back in January 2023, by clicking here. Otherwise, head over to Fingersoft’s website to pre-register LEGO Hill Climb Adventures.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
