LEGO Ideas Insect Collection designer follows up with another Portal-themed project
A prolific LEGO Ideas fan designer has done it again, getting his second Portal-themed project past 10,000 supporters.
You might recognise hachiroku24’s (or José María Pérez Suero) work from previous 10K Club projects like not one but two Iron Giant projects, or a Portal-themed model that recreated the battle of Chell and the spherical robot Wheatley against the giant and evil artificial intelligence GLaDOS, from the popular Portal 2 video game. While those projects were ultimately not approved, he went on to have success with LEGO Ideas 21342 The Insect Collection.
Now, he’s back for more, focusing in on just GLaDOS in the latest of his projects to gain community support. GLaDOS From Portal 2 comes with its own buildable display stand, complete with Wheatley in the docking station.
GLaDOS From Portal 2 is the fifth project from Jose to gain 10,000 supporters and becomes the 12th in the second 2025 review for LEGO Ideas. Remind yourself of the competition down below.
