LEGO Rebuild the World spotlights successful creatives

As the LEGO Rebuild the World campaign continues, three successful people highlight how they channel their creativity.

The LEGO Group is seeking to ensure everyone knows that the brand is all about creativity with the Rebuild the World campaign. Three new videos further the campaign by speaking to icons from the worlds of music, sport and fashion, who reveal why creativity is important in their respective fields.

Musician and producer Mark Ronson, US Olympian Simone Biles and fashionista Tomo Koizumi each play with a handful of LEGO bricks while discussing their own creativity. Simone Biles appears in this first video, with the following two to arrive over the next two weeks.

“I like to encourage people to be original and unique in whatever they do, and for me creativity plays a huge role in making my gymnastics feel distinctive – like my Triple-Double routine. The parallels with the endless possibilities of building with LEGO bricks are clear to see,” says Biles. “You can play around in a lot of different ways, you can build up and down, and you can change your builds around a lot. You have the freedom to be really creative and flexibility to get to a final work that you’re confident with.”

Rebuild the World launched last month with an event at the LEGO House and a video introduction.
