LEGO Star Wars 30680 AAT review

LEGO Star Wars 30680 AAT is a neat little polybag to help mark the 25-year celebrations this May the 4th, and it’s relatively easy to pick up too.

Available from May 1 to 5 while stocks last, 30680 AAT is being awarded with LEGO Star Wars purchases of £35 / $40 / €40 at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores.

In addition, spend thresholds of £80 / $90 / €90 during the same period will receive 5008818 Battle of Yavin, while pushing that up to £145 / $160 / €160 will award customers with a free copy of gift-with-purchase 40686 Trade Federation Troop Carrier, all while stocks last.

For the lowest spend threshold this May the 4th, 30680 AAT offers up a neat little handheld build of the AAT that helps to nicely mark not only 25 years of LEGO Star Wars this year, but also the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace. It also thematically matches the higher gift-with-purchase 40686 Trade Federation Troop Carrier.

As a build it’s fairly typical of a polybag set, or the sort of mini-scale vehicle build you can get free with the LEGO Star Wars magazine. Ultimately, some nice pieces and a clever design offer up an authentic little version of the AAT.

It’s hard to complain about free LEGO Star Wars and there’s little to fault 30680 AAT for as the most accessible gift-with-purchase available this May the 4th period.

30680 AAT is available from May 1 to 5, while stocks last, with LEGO Star Wars purchases of £35 / $40 / €40 or more at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores. Check out all the May the 4th deals for this year right here.
