LEGO Super Mario 77907 Toad’s Special Hideaway rumoured to be SDCC exclusive

A San Diego Comic Con exclusive set, LEGO Super Mario 77907 Toad’s Special Hideaway, is rumoured to have been planned for the event.

For San Diego Comic Con 2020, the LEGO Group has planned to release Super Mario 77907 Toad’s Special Hideaway as an event exclusive product, the Brick Fan reports. Given that the event is now taking place online, it is not clear if or how the set will be distributed.

Surprisingly, the set’s price would have been just $19.99 – much better value than SDCC event exclusives usually are.

A huge range of LEGO Super Mario sets will launch on August 1 along with 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System.

It is not the only event exclusive rumoured to have been planned for this year, with a LEGO Star Wars set themed around the Bespin battle (presumably the duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader) planned for Star Wars Celebration Anaheim.

As ever, rumours must be taken with a pinch of salt until official confirmation arrives from the LEGO Group or Nintendo.
