LEGO tops online retailer’s Christmas 2020 in demand brand poll

A poll by an online retailer has seen LEGO named the most popular brand for parents this Christmas.

Online retailer Bargain Max has named LEGO as the most in-demand toy brand for Christmas 2020, according to a poll the retailer has carried out with parents. More than 2,500 parents participated in the poll, which saw almost 14% of them name LEGO as the brand they are looking at this Christmas, Toy News reports.

Amazon UK recently announced the top 10 toys for Christmas, with 71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course and 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport making the list. Super Mario also made the Argos list, with 42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 also featuring.

Here are the top ten most in demand brands, according to Bargain Max, for Christmas 2020:

LEGO – 13.7 per cent
Disney – 11.6 per cent
Marvel – 8.5 per cent
Barbie – 7.6 per cent
L.O.L Surprise – 7.1 per cent
PAW Patrol – 6.3 per cent
Playmobil – 5.7 per cent
Crayola – 5.5 per cent
Fisher-Price – 5.3 per cent
Peppa Pig – 5.2 per cent

LEGO regularly performs well on brand recognition and popularity, with recent stats showing that the company’s channel is the most popular brand on YouTube.
