LEGOLAND California Resort hosts White House Easter Egg roll for Minilanders

The annual White House Easter Egg roll is still taking place in Miniland at LEGOLAND California Resort.

Each year, the President of the USA holds an Easter Egg roll on the White House lawn. This year it has been cancelled, due to measures to help prevent the spread of coronavirus – but there is still an Easter Egg roll going on at the LEGOLAND California Resort.

Theme Park Insider has shared this fun video, depicting the children of Miniland partaking in the annual tradition. There is all sorts going on in the scene, with the enormous rabbits perhaps the most interesting part as they dwarf the Miniland humans.

Easter festivities have been curtailed around the world as the impact of coronavirus has been felt, with events cancelled and many countries encouraging people to stay inside.

LEGOLAND California Resort is currently closed, but has opened an online shop to sell some of the products that would usually be flying out of the theme park’s gift shops.

Later this year, the President’s residence will return to the LEGO Architecture in 21054 The White House.
