Nolinor Boeing 737-200 lands in the first LEGO Ideas review of 2025

The first LEGO Ideas review of 2025 has welcomed the arrival of an aviation-based build, in the sleek shape of Nolinor Boeing 737-200.

It looks as if the first LEGO Ideas review of 2025 is beginning to hit its stride, with fan-designed submissions starting to pick up 10K supporters on a seemingly weekly basis. Recent additions have included the likes of Taylor Swift Lover House and Jellyfish Collection, with yet another original build now joining that ever-expanding line-up.

Nolinor Boeing 737-200 is the brainchild of By Design and create and took three-and-a-half months to assemble. The model includes a number of impressive features, such as a full and detailed interior, an opening cargo bay containing four custom pallets, moveable ailerons on the wings, retractable landing gear and much more.

The brick-built Nolinor Boeing 737-200 comes with a gravel kit, installed on some aircraft to allow them to operate smoothly on snow, gravel and in other adverse weather conditions. The LEGO Ideas submission also boasts custom forklift and tug models, with the latter based on a real vehicle called ‘Thicc Boi’.

The LEGO Ideas version of the Nolinor Boeing 737-200 was inspired by a variant of the aircraft that launched in 1968, originally built for United Airlines. Nolinar Aviation is a charter airline based in Canada at Montréal International Airport, which operates a passenger and cargo service, with nine Boeing 737-200’s making it the largest fleet of such aircraft.

We’ll have to wait and see if Nolinor Boeing 737-200 will take to the skies as a physical LEGO set for now though, with submissions open for the first review until May 5, 2025.
