Potential prices and piece counts revealed for LEGO Lunar New Year sets
Following the official reveal of five upcoming LEGO Lunar New Year sets, details of potential prices and piece counts have now emerged.
The LEGO Group officially announced five upcoming Lunar New Year sets for 2023 yesterday at the 5th China International Import Expo. The models showcased at the industry event will begin releasing in China and other territories from December 25, 2022. The diverse builds celebrate the Year of the Rabbit in 2023 and traditional Chinese culture. Oh, and there’s a massive new Monkie Kid mech on the way too.
Some initial details on each set emerged at the Expo, including product numbers, the option to build a better purple LEGO Classic Space minifigure and the release window for the models, but no specifics were announced regarding prices and piece counts.
Since then, the first of the Lunar New Year sets has now appeared on LEGO.com, with 10411 Learn About Chinese Culture available for £69.99 / $69.99 / €79.99 on December 25 in the UK and Europe, then on January 1, 2023, in the US.
Stonewars is now reporting what may be potential prices and piece counts for three more of the Lunar New Year sets, although none of this information have been confirmed by the LEGO Group so far:

Although there’s no information on the possible pricing and piece count for 80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech, the report does mention that one of the set’s potential upgrades may be a Light Brick installed in the mech’s head.
As usual, all of those details are just rumours for now, so do treat them with speculation until we have official confirmation.
