Reminder: A lot of new LEGO sets are about to release

A huge variety of new LEGO sets are just hours away from releasing on the official online store and we’re here to remind you of what to expect from Star Wars to Ideas.

From the launch of the latest Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series model to the entirety of the summer sets arriving in the US, August looks to be an exciting month for shoppers and we haven’t even mentioned the multiple deals on offer.

The next LEGO shopping season is likely to start at midnight worldwide, or a little earlier for those in the UK. No matter which theme you prefer from Marvel to Super Mario, there’s something for every builder and a deal to suit you too.

The largest of the deals is a free LEGO Ideas 40487 Sailboat Adventure with orders over $200. The threshold has yet to be confirmed for other regions but we can likely expect this offer to appear worldwide with a similarly high required cost.

LEGO 10279 Volkswagen T2 Camper Van 19

That price shouldn’t be hard to reach, especially for those who love Star Wars, live in the US, or even both. August 1 is the release date for several LEGO sets including 75309 Republic Gunship (review), the next UCS build as voted by the community. LEGO for Adults 10279 Volkswagen T2 Camper Van will also launch with a detailed build and full interior for classic vehicle lovers to enjoy as seen in our review.

On the less expensive side of things, a wide selection of smaller models will arrive at midnight including Super Mario 71387 Adventures with Luigi Starter Course and the introduction of multiplayer to the theme. Shoppers in the US will also be able to catch up on the summer waves that have already been released in other regions.

Stay tuned to Brick Fanatics as a new season of LEGO sets is upon us and we’ll keep you up to date as the latest official creations release

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
