Smyths Toys hosting LEGO Friends Make and Take event in February

UK retailer Smyths Toys will be hosting a special Make and Take event in February, with visitors receiving a free LEGO Friends build.

The LEGO Friends theme is undergoing a massive makeover in 2023, with 20 new sets having launched on January 1, new mini-dolls and locations added to the range, and a YouTube animated series starting today. The overhaul comes after the theme’s initial 10-year run and is intended to give LEGO Friends lasting appeal beyond its core audience.

UK retailer Smyths Toys will also be promoting the updated world of Heartlake City with an in-store Make and Take event scheduled for February 18, 2023. Details regarding the promotion are a little thin on the ground, but it appears that visitors to their local stores from 9am on the day will be able to pick up a free build, which is limited to one giveaway per person while stocks last.

It’s not yet known exactly what the LEGO Friends promotional item may be, although it’s entirely possible the giveaway could be 30633 Skate Ramp, a 46-piece polybag recently revealed on the official Building Instructions page.
