LEGO Store Disney Springs highlights LEGO Minifigure Factory on National LEGO Day
Disney Springs is highlighting National LEGO Day by letting everyone know about the LEGO Minifigure Factory at the LEGO Store.
As noted earlier, today is the day that the LEGO patent application was submitted 62 years ago – that makes it National LEGO Day, apparently, and Disney Springs is celebrating the occasion by highlighting a new installation – the LEGO Minifigure Factory.
The LEGO Minifigure Factory is a new experience at LEGO Stores around the world. So far, it has launched in Copenhagen, Berlin and Amsterdam – and Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida.
There are over 150 templates to start with as well as the option to customise from scratch. It seems there are even special destination-specific torsos for fans to choose from at the Disney World location.
Two new Disney sets are about to launch on February 1 in the LEGO BrickHeadz theme, 40377 Donald Duck (review) and 40378 Goofy and Pluto (review). The LEGO Disney theme has expanded this year with new Storybook Adventures sets.
LEGO DOTS, a new theme all about decorating and patterning, has launched today at an event in London, UK.
