LEGO 2K Drive players are getting creative with their cars
LEGO 2K Drive is out now and with a versatile garage and vehicle builder, players are getting extremely creative with their cars and boats.
LEGO 2K Drive has launched for everyone, giving you a few days to get used to the building system present in-game. The vehicle builder was praised highly in our review of the game and it seems that people are starting to realise its true potential.
Rackzo has opted for more realistic vehicles, but uses techniques that must have been complicated to recreate in-game. Ready for Rise of the Beasts, Falkorich has seemingly been inspired by 10302 Optimus Prime with a recreation of the Autobot in truck form. We don’t imagine it’s possible to have him transform though.
The official PlayStation UK account even joined in on the fun following the release of LEGO 2K Drive with a model of Sweet Tooth’s van from the Twisted Metal series in a crossover that we never expected to see.
Some players have chosen to recreate sets not officially featured in the game, including Ghostbusters News and their depiction of 21108 Ghostbusters ECTO-1, with an alternate version based on the Afterlife sequel.
It’s just the start of LEGO 2K Drive with several passes with free and premium rewards still to come, so it will be interesting how complex the vehicles are in a year from this report. LEGO 2K Drive is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch and PC.

- LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
