LEGO 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery now available to buy

If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, now is your chance to be one of the first to buy it from LEGO.com.

10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery recreates the American Space Shuttle program’s 35th mission, which launched the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit. As one of the most complex vehicles ever made by mankind, its 18+ replica set should also be a challenging build.

The set includes the bricks not just for the iconic rocket itself, but also the smaller telescope that accompanied it. Once built, it can tuck away neatly into the shuttle’s payload bay, attach to an extending arm, or be displayed separately from the rocket, orbiting your other collections.

The LEGO Group partnered with former NASA astronaut Dr. Kathy Sullivan to launch the interstellar model, while the designers worked hard to make sure that as much of the detail as possible from the original shuttle made it into the LEGO set. You can see more of these features in pictures here or in a video here.
