$50.99 at BUY NOW sets for summer 2023 was recently revealed, with a staggering 14 different models due for launch on June 1. The range of builds includes the likes of the pocket-money priced 71779 Lloyd’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Spin, right up to the massive wallet-busting 71799 NINJAGO City Markets.

As well as impressive vehicles, mechs and dragons, the upcoming NINJAGO wave also features many new minifigures, including updated variants of existing characters. One minifigure appearing as part of the Dragons Rising relaunch is the gold ninja, Arin. The character will be available in 71792 Sora’s Transforming Mech Bike Racer, 71794 Lloyd and Arin’s Ninja Team Mechs, 71797 Destiny’s Bounty – Race Against Time, 71798 Nya and Arin’s Baby Dragon Battle and 71799 NINJAGO City Markets.

When in full ninja garb, Arin has a new horned hood piece that could potentially be used to update an existing LEGO Marvel minifigure. Only previously available in 76178 Daily Bugle

$349.99 at BUY NOW, Matt Murdock’s Daredevil is long overdue a new version, especially with the character’s appearance in last year’s Disney+ show, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. It’s hard to tell at this stage if the NINJAGO hood and scarf mask is one piece or two separate elements, but if it’s the latter then an updated Daredevil minifigure could be a possibility.

We previously mentioned how another NINJAGO element included in the summer 2023 wave would be near-perfect for a Moon Knight minifigure, so now we want to see the Man Without Fear get his own upgrade too.

However, if a recent rumour is to be believed, it’s unlikely that Daredevil will be part of a possible forthcoming LEGO Marvel Series 2 Collectible Minifigures range, so it looks like may just have to create our own custom version of the comic book character instead…
