LEGO Star Wars 30495 AT-ST gift-with-purchase review

The smallest LEGO Star Wars gift-with-purchase available this May the 4th Star Wars Day is the Hoth-themed polybag 30495 AT-ST.

The most basic and simplest of the three promotional giveaways during the LEGO Group’s May the 4th Star Wars Day event running May 1 to 8, 30495 AT-ST is being awarded with LEGO Star Wars purchases of £40 / $40 / €40 at LEGO.com, while stocks last.

Quite obviously most attention this May the 4th event will fall on the two higher spend threshold gifts – 5007403 The Mandalorian Beskar Keyring and 40531 Lars Family Homestead Kitchen – but the first that anyone will pick up before even qualifying for either of those two is this quick and easy little Hoth-themed chicken walker.

It’s certainly targeted to the younger builder and for them offers a neat and clever construction that ties in with the plethora of Hoth-based sets we have seen released recently, including 75322 Hoth AT-ST. For older builders it’s one that perhaps will be overlooked for what it is, maybe with one eye instead on what is a pretty decent selection of parts that could find use elsewhere. We still advise building it first, as it’s surprisingly neat.

Either way, for a low spend threshold and as part of a triple-whammy of gifts-with-purchase this May the 4th Star Wars Day promotional event, there’s little to complain about getting 30495 AT-ST free.

30495 AT-ST is free with all LEGO Star Wars purchases of £40 / $40 / €40 at LEGO.com during May 1 to 8, while stocks last.

Meanwhile, LEGO VIP members spending £70 / $70 / €70 LEGO Star Wars at LEGO.com during May 1 to 8 (or while stocks last) to qualify for 5007403 The Mandalorian Beskar Keyring will automatically also receive a copy of 30495 AT-ST.

Furthermore, anyone spending £160 / $160 / €160 at LEGO.com during May 1 to 8 (or whilst stocks last) to qualify for 40531 Lars Family Homestead Kitchen will also automatically receive a copy of 5007403 The Mandalorian Beskar Keyring and 30495 AT-ST.
