Two more large LEGO sets fit together perfectly
An enterprising Redditor has shown how two large-scale LEGO sets are the perfect partnership.
The LEGO Group has (for some time) been producing large-scale models of famous vehicles and pop culture characters – with 10302 Optimus Prime happening to be both. While these sets aren’t designed to be compatible with one another, it turns out that some of them fit together surprisingly well – with 71411 The Mighty Bowser pairing nicely with both 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System and 21329 Fender Stratocaster.
Now it seems two more LEGO sets of this kind can fit together: specifically, 76217 I am Groot and 10298 Vespa 125. The former set depicts Marvel tree alien Groot in his younger days, while the latter depicts a classic Italian motorcycle. Reddit user TerpinOne shows that Groot can fit comfortably aboard the Vespa – something that 40517 Vespa has failed to achieve, so far, with other LEGO models.
As such, it’s a compelling reason to pick up one (or both) of these sets if you haven’t done so already – particularly when Groot has shown himself to have an adventurous streak. Recent TV series like I Am Groot (on Disney+) show Groot embarking on various solo outings, so a Vespa-aided road trip may not be too much of a stretch. In fact, both of these sets are currently available with a discount; visit our Black Friday page for more information.
