LEGO Adidas ZX 8000 Bricks collection available now, selling fast

The LEGO Group and Adidas’s latest range of colourful sneakers are now available to buy – but they’re already selling fast.

Coming in six different colourways (red, blue, green, yellow, black and grey), the footwear collection looks destined to have similar limited availability to last year’s multi-coloured LEGO x Adidas ZX 8000 shoes. At the time of writing, the red shoes had already sold out at the official Adidas online store, while only a handful of pairs of grey trainers were left.

The other colours seemed a bit healthier, but we can’t recommend waiting around if you’re keen on picking up a pair of LEGO-branded sneakers. They’ll set you back £110 a pop through Adidas’s website, but you can apparently also secure them (presumably for the same price) through the brand’s app and selected online retailers.

Whichever colour you choose to buy – if you manage to bag any at all – you’ll be rewarded with a shoe that emulates the studded texture of LEGO bricks on its heel, but otherwise mostly follows the classic ZX 8000 design. And don’t worry if you do miss out: the LEGO Group and Adidas have entered a multi-year partnership, so there’ll presumably be plenty more products in the pipeline.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
