LEGO DC: Batman: Family Matters to premiere at San Diego Comic Con
There is more to do for LEGO fans than just track down exclusives at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, with the world first screening of LEGO DC: Batman: Family Matters taking place.
The next LEGO DC straight-to-home-format movie has already been announced as LEGO DC: Batman: Family Matters: Overuse of the colon – and the new animation has now been announced as premiering at San Diego Comic Con on July 21 at 2.15pm.
In the new animated feature, Two-Face buys Wayne Enterprises and teams up with Brother Eye to use it for nefarious means. It is up to Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Batwoman and Nightwing to save the city as a Bat-family, even when Red Hood turns up to complicate things further. Family Matters is directed by Matt Peters with a screenplay by Jeremy Adams.
On the Saturday, fans can hear about future LEGO animated projects from those who work on bringing them to life.
Three LEGO exclusives have been unveiled for San Diego Comic Con 2019, which will be taking place in California, USA next month. Marvel 77902 Captain Marvel and the Asis, Marvel PS4 Spider-Man and DC 77903 The Dark Knight of Gotham City have already been for the convention, with a LEGO Star Wars exclusive yet to be revealed.
