More LEGO UK price increases revealed, including Star Wars, Harry Potter and Technic sets
Selfridges has revealed even more LEGO sets increasing in price in the UK from September, including brand new Technic, Star Wars and LEGO ICONS products.
We’re just over two weeks away from the LEGO Group’s imminent price increases rolling out in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, following their implementation in the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region at the beginning of August. These price hikes are apparently coming due to ‘increased raw material and operating costs’, amid ‘global economic challenges’.
The Entertainer has already raised prices across a selection of products in the UK, giving us some insight into which sets will be more expensive from September – and now Selfridges has followed suit (h/t Brickset). The latest list extends to flagship summer 2022 sets like 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3, 10302 Optimus Prime and 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, though the level of increase differs between sets.
The most egregious offender in this batch – in terms of percentage increase – is 10280 Flower Bouquet, which is going up by a whopping 22%, from £44.99 to £54.99. From a pure pound sterling perspective, two Technic sets are worst affected, with 42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 and 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3 rising in price by £40 each.
Check out the current list of known price increases in the UK below, but remember that this probably isn’t exhaustive: the full list will likely also extend to exclusive sets not sold at The Entertainer or Selfridges. If any of these sets are on your wish list, though, best to snap them up within the next two weeks to avoid paying even more for them further down the line.
A total of 116 LEGO sets increased in price in the US at the beginning of August. Click here for a full breakdown of those. The price increases above will likely come into effect in the UK on September 1 at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
