New LEGO 2K Drive trailer reveals closer look at brick-built features
The latest trailer for LEGO 2K Drive reveals sneak peeks at mini-games and challenges on their way in the brick-built racing game.
Since its reveal, there have been various teases and clues as to what users can expect from the game, ranging from player customisation to real-life sets replicated with digital bricks. Now, a new trailer for the game (hosted by the minifigure news hosts from Bricklandia) has revealed fresh insight into the gameplay and features of LEGO 2K Drive.
You can transform on the fly, seemingly allowing players to ‘rebuild’ into a vehicle better suited for the new terrain or challenge that presents them. The trailer also offers a sneak peek into the mini-games (such as using your car to putt an enormous golf ball), challenges (like navigating a race with a rocket attached to your car), and a sprawling map that’s ‘even bigger than imagined’ – although not quite open-world.
LEGO 2K Drive is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on May 19 for the Standard Edition, or May 16 for the Awesome Edition and Awesome Rivals Edition.
