LEGO Creator Expert 10270 Bookshop available now

The new modular set, LEGO Creator Expert modular building, 10270 Bookshop, is available exclusively at the official LEGO website.

LEGO Creator Expert 10270 Bookshop is available exclusively at LEGO.com, priced at £149.99 in the UK and $179.99 in the USA. The 2,504-piece set builds a three-storey bookshop and townhouse inspired by European architecture.

Features included in the set include a reading book, a toy plane stuck in a tree, a chameleon in the bedroom and plenty more that will be revealed as the model is constructed. Design Master Wes Talbott was inspired by houses found in Amsterdam and his mother’s doll houses.

The Design Master was given a brief to come up with “a cosy residential building” for the modular series. He was inspired by New York to include the birch tree, with the house and bookshop taking inspiration from locations including the Painted Ladies in San Francisco and the buildings of Amsterdam.

He included two easter eggs – or three, depending how they are counted – the house number is 107, which is the official number for the teal colour, the shade that the building uses. Two of the minifigures are based on his parents, who are both creatives themselves.

Sets have also launched in the Creator Expert, Star WarsDisney, Marvel, Minecraft, Hidden Side, Trolls World Tour, Architecture, Speed Champions, NINJAGO, Technic, City, Friends, Creator and Classic themes.
