The new LEGO Star Wars Luke’s Lightsaber has a hidden surprise
The LEGO Luke’s lightsaber will be given away soon with all orders of Star Wars 75313 AT-AT, and it turns out the model has a hidden surprise.
LEGO Star Wars 40483 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber is the second life-sized recreation of the Jedi’s favoured weapon, focusing on the iconic design of Luke Skywalker’s version in a gift that will be available this Black Friday.
However, as noted in our in-depth review of 40483 Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber, there is more to the set than meets the eye as beneath the main outer structure of the cylindrical hilt, an ancient relic of the Jedi can be found.
Kyber crystals power each lightsaber with the gem’s various colours denoting what hue the blade will be when ignited. As such, Luke’s lightsaber featured a blue kyber crystal which can be found at the centre of the upcoming brick-built iteration using a pair of transparent pieces.
This is the first life-sized LEGO lightsaber to feature the iconic stone with 5006290 Yoda’s Lightsaber being the only other and not featuring a kyber crystal, which would have been green if it was.
